Why does this matter?
The topic of sexual harassment needs to be addressed because it is a huge issue not only to the female victims but to the nation aswell. According to statistics 54% of women in the U.S. from ages 18-34 are victims of sexual violence. 90% of reported adult rape victims are indeed female. In many cases, victims dont even report the incident and in others the case is taken to court but the victim is not justified and the attacker goes free. The violation of their body and mind comes with long term effects that scar these women forever. They have to deal with second guessing their wardrobe, if its too short or "provacative." They are blamed for "asking for it." They are constantly doubting peoples intentions and have to carry the label "victim" for the rest of their lives.

- Post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
